Primary
Primary
Insight staff work in most of the Primary Schools of Kingston-Upon-Thames. We are pleased to have 3 fully qualified teachers who work exclusively in the Primary schools: Suzanna Andrews, Keren Wood & Hywel Ling-Davies. We are also expanding the work of Insight into the Borough of Richmond-Upon-Thames. Click here to complete the online Insight Booking form.
Collective Worship
Struggling for ideas? Needing food for thought? We deliver creative and fun assemblies at 13 schools across Kingston. These are related to current events or the specific time of the school year, such as a fresh start at the beginning of the year, or Easter and Christmas. If you think we could support you in delivering exciting assemblies, please contact us.
Lessons
Lessons are an important part of our work and provide a way of both supporting schools, as well as communicating the Christian faith. Insight can help provide support for the teaching of a number of syllabi, such as Kingston's locally agreed syllabus and the Southwark Diocese of Education syllabus. We are passionate about making the teaching of Christianity fun, interactive and ensuring it is a thought-provoking subject. Primary topics that we are frequently invited to teach include: Christmas, Easter, The Bible, Parables, The Lord’s Prayer, The Beatitudes and special celebrations.
Clubs
Primary School Bible Clubs are held at lunchtime or after school. In Kingston, many of these clubs are run by Insight workers and volunteers from our partnering churches. The clubs provide a fun forum for children to take part in activities such as: playing games, drama, craft, learning memory verses, quizzes and listening to a story from the Bible.
