Primary

Insight staff work in most of the Primary Schools of Kingston-Upon-Thames. We are pleased to have 4 fully qualified teachers who work exclusively in the Primary schools: Suzanna Andrews, Keren Wood, Claire Sims & Hywel Ling-Davies. We are also expanding the work of Insight into the Borough of Richmond-Upon-Thames. Click here to complete the online Insight Booking form.

Collective Worship

Assemblies or Collective Worship forms a large part of our service to schools. We are involved regularly in assemblies for pupils of all ages throughout the primary range. They are a lot of fun and can be a great tool to challenge the children about questions relating to faith and give a Christian perspective on issues.

Lessons

Lessons provide a way of both supporting schools as well as communicating the Christian faith. Lessons are an important part of our work. We help support with the teaching of Kingston's locally agreed syllabus and the Southwark Diocese of Education syllabus. We are passionate about making Christianity fun, interactive and a thought provoking subject. Primary topics that we are frequently invited to teach include: Christmas, Easter, The Life of Jesus, The Bible, Parables and Telling our Stories.

Clubs

Primary School Bible Clubs are held at lunchtime or after school. In Kingston, many of these clubs are run by volunteers from our partner churches. The clubs provide a fun forum for children to take part in many activities like: playing games, drama, craft, learning memory verses, quizzes, singing and listening to a story from the Bible.
